Richard L. P. Solosky, MNM
Richard has over 25 years of business/organizational development and marketing expertise. He is the founder of two software development companies and has over 15 years of nonprofit experience serving at various levels bridging both staff and board functions, including, Executive Director, Development Director, President, Treasurer, and Board Chair.
An expert nonprofit consultant in the areas of marketing, fundraising, and organizational strategy development, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, and a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. With a natural love of the outdoors and outdoor activities, Richard is an experienced skier, climber, and mountain guide; a twelve-year field-active team leader with Alpine Rescue Team, serving as President, Training Director, and as Chairman of the Rocky Mountain Region of the Mountain Rescue Association. He has resided in Evergreen, Colorado since 1990.
Rachel T. Emmer, MBA
With 25 years in building small business and community, armed with an MBA in Sustainable Business, a passion for local living economies and a background in video storytelling, my energies are being poured into developing resilient community economies through innovative entrepreneurship, social enterprise and community coalescence.
The earth, its systems and its inhabitants all balance precariously at this point in history. As sentient beings, we are bestowed with a profound responsibility and incredible privilege to be the fulcrum of sensibility, stability and sustainability for the planet. The remaining chapters of my life are dedicated to increasing the resiliency of the globe by feeding the anchoring roots of communities by building systems, networks and organizations that nurture each other.
Amanda Wallander Roberts, MSSW
With her background in social work, Amanda looks at social organizations from a holistic perspective, assessing needs and identifying positive solutions. She has experience working with universities, social programs, small businesses, and nonprofits, designing customized solutions for their program needs, including logic models and evaluation plans, restructuring recommendations, business process maps, employee evaluation systems, and more.
Amanda is passionate about improving the impact of social organizations through program and organizational development. She believes by helping the organizations that help others, she is utilizing her talents to better the communities around her.
Jerome Stiller has over twenty years’ experience in evaluation, research, and statistics. Mr. Stiller has worked for Regis University, Denver Health, the Rose Foundation, and Adams 14 School District, among others. He has co-authored papers in several peer-reviewed journals, and has presented research and evaluation findings to staff, senior management, and legislators. He has a Master’s degree in Social Psychology from the University of Rochester. Jerome believes that data can and should be used to paint a compelling picture that will guide program and organizational development and provide persuasive evidence of program and organizational impact.
Sara possesses a high level of expertise in broad-scale strategic and marketing planning. With an extensive range of experience, her primary focus is assisting nonprofit boards with strategic goal setting and long-range marketing and development planning. She has over 17 years’ experience working with non-profits and private-sector businesses throughout the United States in the fields of Marketing, Public Relations, and Strategic Planning.
She has held executive titles such as, Marketing Director and Director of Creative Services, beginning her career in fundraising and public outreach for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation and then moving on to producing high quality marketing communications for a not-for-profit performing arts presenter in Ann Arbor, MI. Sara has worked extensively in the non-profit trenches; tackling website design and implementation; authorship, design and coordination of direct mail promotions and marketing collateral; and design and execution of marketing and public relations campaigns. She is an accomplished freelance writer for several local and national magazines and newspapers.
